We run a full schedule of foundation excavation, septic systems, utility work, and sitework across Chittenden County, and most of our jobs sit within 45 minutes of South Burlington. Our schedule runs through the end of the season, into December in a typical year, and year-round work is available to drivers who show us their work ethic and ability.
You’ll haul equipment and materials between job sites and help keep our crews moving. A Class A CDL is preferred, but we’ll also consider a Class B CDL with a standard transmission endorsement.
What You Need
- A valid driver’s license and a clean record
- A Class A CDL is preferred, though a Class B CDL with a standard transmission endorsement works too
- Comfortable backing a trailer and hauling equipment between sites
- Willingness to learn equipment operation is a plus
What You Get
- $25 to $30 an hour, based on your experience and what other equipment you can run
- Full-time work through the season, with year-round opportunities for employees who show us their work ethic and ability
- Paid holidays and paid vacation

Where you land in that range depends on you. Show us your experience and what other equipment you can run, and we’ll build a pay plan that fits. When was the last time you worked for a business that was actually willing to work for you too?
We’ve got full-time work for the right driver right now, and year-round work is on the table once you’ve shown us your work ethic and ability. Call or text Mike at 802-238-6208, or email mike@allterrainexcavatingvt.com, and let’s talk about your spot on the crew today.
