All Terrain Excavating is seeking an Equipment Operator
All Terrain Excavating is looking for an equipment operator to run excavators, dozers, and skid steers on jobs across Chittenden County. We’re based in South Burlington, VT, and most of our work sits within 45 minutes of the shop, often in rural parts of the state. Our schedule runs through the end of the season, into December in a typical year, and year-round work is available to operators who show us their work ethic and ability.
Our crews handle foundation excavation, septic systems, underground utilities, stormwater, demolition, retaining walls, cell towers, and forest roads. Whether you’re mostly on the excavator or moving between machines, precision matters as much as speed. We keep our equipment in good shape, and our excavators run Trimble and Steelwrist rotators, so you’re working with modern gear.
What You Need
- Experience running excavators, dozers, or skid steers
- Precision and patience on the excavator, not just speed
- Ability to work safely, solo or with a crew
- Reading plans is a plus, not a requirement, we’ll train you on it
- All experience levels welcome, we train where needed
